CLARITY ON THE GOSPEL

The word of God is clear on many things but yet many will read and not understand because it is the Holy Spirit that reveals God’s truth to mere men. Every day we walk this earth as spiritual beings in an earthen vessel. What does this mean to you? Do you really know and can you even understand? God has commanded us to obey His every word as His children yet we listen to the voices of men and the whispers of ungoldly spirits. Jesus says to us, ‘with their mouths they honour me but their hearts are far away from me, teaching as doctrines the commands of men’. God loves us so much that He made a way for us to live a full and blessed life even after the consequences of sin. He gave up a pure sacrifice for our eternity to give us life here and hereafter. Do you believe this? If your answer is yes then why does your life not reflect this truth?
This message is to every man, woman or child who believes in the name above all names; the name of Jesus, as the Son f God and the risen saviour King:

1. Do not live your life beyond today, for tomorrow will have its own way
2. Commit your ways before the Lord and He will make your life prosperous
3. Follow God’s instructions and He will lead you in the way you should go
4. Do not be wise in your own eyes but seek the counsel of God at all times
5. Do not gather among ungodly people to share in their way, it will corrupt you
6. Share the truth as you ave been shown it, do not pervert or corrupt it for personal gain
7. Let God show you in each day how you should live, speak, breathe and interact with everything
8. Do things that are good just as your father in Heaven has shown you
9. Have only one teacher and leader, Our Lord Jesus Christ, all men are fallible
10. Do not replace the image of God in your heart with the Image of gods created by men
11. Let your light so shine that people may see your good works and glorify your father in Heaven
12. Do not be troubled by the sun at day nor the noon by night, all things will pass
13. Do not be afraid of the unknown, Your God knoweth all things
14. Believe truly and sincerely in the Lord, your God, He neither sleeps nor slumbers
May the peace of the Lord which surpasses all understanding be yours and may you begin to shine as a light for the world to see that Jesus Christ is Lord over all things and at all times.

Dear friends, let your hearts not be troubled, but rather guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues pertaining to life and godliness. So whatsoever things are pure, true and of good repute, think on these things.
Finally, if you find that you are alone in witnessing the truth, know that you are not alone, Jesus is with you, The Holy Spirit is with you, God is with you and the Brethren of His Church are constantly praying for you. May God bless you and keep you in the way you should go and may you grow strong in His love, grace, mercy and wisdom.

Who has made you Blind?

Do you remember what it was like when you first got Born-Again? Can you picture it? Do you remember how clear you were on the difference between light and dark, love and hate, good and evil? Do you still see the distinctions? Are the ways still clear to you in each day? If you say yes in your heart or with your mouth and your thoughts, words or actions do not tell the same tale, you lie. And if you lie, you lie only to yourself because God is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth, he shall reap. I have good news for you, Our Lord God is good and kind, He shows us unconditional love, mercy, grace and kindness; if we will only repent, He is able and just and will forgive us our sins.
I want you to remember what being born-again felt like. Did you worry about how much you had left in your bank account? Did you worry about a promotion at the office or did you even worry about eating, sleeping or looking your best. The general consensus is that being born again gives you a spiritual lifting high above these things, at least in that moment. If you agree with this thus far, my question to you is where did it all go? That feeling of oneness with God, the transformation of you by the renewal of your mind! How did it become so that you conform to the ways of the day and you even counsel others to do the same on the guise of reality?! What is your reality? What should it be?
Brethren in Christ, God loves you, Jesus Christ loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you and He wants you to know this but also He wants you to express this. Are you suffering today? The Bible says that ‘My people suffer for lack of knowledge’. What do you not know?! What did God reveal to you in the dark room that you have lost in the Light? Do not be deceived, if salt loses its savor, what is it good for other than trampling on the ground? A friend asked me recently if I knew what it meant for salt to lose its savor and I thought of it for quite a while. The only thought that came to mind was one of two things:
1. It gets Stale
2. It get diluted with water or other impurities to its nature
Something has happened to you if there was a time that you trusted God whole heartedly not just when you get results. When your heart was sold out to Jesus and not what Jesus did on the cross can do for you. When Love was your only reason for seeking the presence of God. When you longed to share His word not just to be correct or known as Christian but to identify with the birth, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Friend, you have lost your way but I have good news for you, It is ok because today God is reaching out to you as He is reaching out to me. Find your way back to Him. He is ever faithful, ever true. Do not be swayed neither to the left nor to the right, neither to one deliverance conference nor to a financial convention but rather seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL other things shall be added unto you. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting Life.
Dear friend, God loves you, He always has and He always will, Pray now for God to open your eyes, so that you may once again see the things that are of God not designed by the devil or created by men.
I pray that your life will be full of the fruits of the Spirit of God and all things will work for you according to His grand design.

WHO DO YOU MINISTER TO?

God's work and way is never a way of isolation except for a time or duration. It is a flowing river of water that cleanses out all impurities in our lives. As human beings, we constantly have interactions that are not particularly heavenly or spiritual but God wants us to Live His spiritual life even here on earth so that we can grow to obtain what He has in store for us who are faithful as His children. When Jesus went to the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, the Bible records that after it was over, Angels came to minister to Him. If you are currently going through a trial or tough experience, I want you to know that periods like this is not all there is and they mean something, if you will only ask God to show you as He sees. Stand your ground firmly in the faith of what God has told you and expect His ministers to speak to you to give you strength.

The Bible says 'Iron sharpens Iron' which literally means that we should be encouragers of one another in the faith, believing God alone, through trying times and other times encouraging a closer walk with God and deeper knowledge of Him. Recently, I asked a question to a Christian brother of mine if he would know the difference between the commands of men that have become religious doctrines and the truth of God. Would You?

His response gave me further thought on what Jesus mentioned in the Bible in Matt 15: 8,9 'All you praise me with your words, but you never really think about me. It is useless for you to worship me, when you teach rules made up by humans - CEV' 'The people draweth nigh unto me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines, the commandments of men - KJV' In our pursuit of truth, let us not be carried away by charisma abd become carriers of the wrong things because Good intends to use us as instruments of ministry to others.

In a similar conversation, we were gathered together and a conversation about the economy and state of the world arose and how great a challenge it as. Again, I was reminded of the scripture where God says that '...in our sleep, He blesses us'. The life of a child of God is blessed, within and without and we must never forget this. Regardless of your circumstance, I ant you to see anew, to know the truth of your salvation of how God has brought you out of darkness into His marvelous light and He says: Let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your father who is in Heaven.

Dear friends, as children of God, we are all ministers in Christ, one to another, brethren of the fellowship of Jesus Christ so let your belief (faith), words, hope and love be of Him who is able.

AN EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE VS THE SPIRIT OF GOD

 

 

Brethren in Christ,

 

I write to you with the utmost sincerity of spirit and pray for you in each day to know God and begin to experience life as He alone has made for you to experience. Today, we have a lot of preachers, teachers, churches, gatherings, revivals, worship sessions, prayer meetings, fasting sessions and God-related activities. In these places, when activities are done, either words are spoken, songs are sang, prayer points are shared or a revelation/prophecy is pronounced, there usually is an experience that follows. We know this experience as the move of God's Spirit on us and people begin to cry, laugh, dance, shout, pray, speak, groan, move, speak in unknown tongues and have an experience with the spirit of God.

A question I would pose to you is this: Would you know the difference between an emotional experience born of flesh and a spiritual experience born of the Spirit of god? Before you answer this, I would like you to consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 7: 21 - 23:

'Not everyone who says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that does the il of my Father which is in Heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out demons? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

A sincere spiritual experience is one where God is in charge of our emotions also. The Bible records that 'by their fruits, ye shall know them'. Brethren, it does not matter how many church services you have attended, how many godly articles you have written, how many times you have cleaned the church or how many times you led the worship or prayer sessions. The truth is much simper than that: it is in total surrender to God's Spirit that you will find rest and identity in Christ. Do not be swayed to the left or to the right, by words, movements or emotional experiences but rather let Jesus Christ lead you by the hand through the Holy Spirit to a perfect Identity as God alone has made.

Be wary of the fruits of the flesh.

IF ONLY

 

You are a born again person, remade in the image of Jesus Christ. You know how Jesus was while He walked the earth and how He is even today? That is how you should be in every day! You know that He is the Prince of Peace. You know that your life should have the fruits of the spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness... (Gal 5). But you alone also know your deepest, darkest and not so deep thoughts of sin, loneliness, doubt, fear, selfishness, depression, worry, ambition, desire for riches, envy, covetousness, and so many other thoughts that are not born of God's Spirit.

My question to you is this: Imagine if only you lived as Jesus lived; walked like He walked, talk like Him and even acted as He would in your daily life. Would your life be different from who you are today? This is what Christians refer to as living the spirit life: living according to the spirit and not the desires of the flesh. Te Bible reminds us that we have been given everything we need to live a life that pleases God through Jesus Christ (2 Pet 1: 2 - 5 ) and yet we live as though we can please God by works alone or following certain 'biblical / scriptural' principles.
The most important element that you will ever possess that shows you belong to the family of God through Jesus Christ and have been renewed, is Love. Many of us are more concerned about things and how we get them: Food, Jobs, Money, Cars, Houses, Reputation, Position, Wealth, Relevance, Politics, Ideologies and Fallacies. How did you fall that far from the first day God revealed Jesus Christ to you? Have you forgotten that Jesus says we should take no thought for our lives, what we shall eat or what we shall drink?! That our heavenly father knows that we have need of these things?!
Brethren, all is not lost. God is Love and His Love for you is ever present. You can live a life that is full of love, peace, joy, patience, kindness...: You can have an Abundant life. Jesus Christ gave His life so willingly for the sin of the world so that we can know the father, Just as He does. If this is what you want also; to know the Father and be like Jesus, then I would encourage you to say a Prayer now if you can. Ask God to show you what to do in order to be like Jesus. Many have been Christians for a very long time and still have struggles with very many things that have distracted them from the simple truth of God's Love (1 Cor 13 ): Brethren, we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in High places.
You cannot do this on your own, Ask God to help you and give you strength to overcome the weakness of your own heart. God loves you and wants you to be who He made you to be

The Secret Place

The Secret Place

            Everywhere we turn, almost everyone seems to have a tougher version of life than the previous person, sometimes it gets so chaotic that you might begin to ask yourself; is this the life that was promised, the life that was saved on the cross of Calvary? As Christians, we have to know what we believe in and stick to that truth no matter what happens. In the storm, we have to know that God was there even before we arrived just to make sure that the storm will not consume us. Many at times, we face the wrong direction in our bid to escape from danger. God loves you and you should know that you are safe inside His hands no matter what life throws at you.

            The Secret place is not a place you design; it is the place where God is, a place where worship is all that comes out of your life. The Bible teaches us that an act of kindness to the poor is an act of worship to God. In the secret place, many things happen, lives are transformed, broken hearts restored, futures changed and people begin to see and live anew. If you were to be given a choice on your perfect life, many things you would choose might be things found in this world alone: money, houses, cars, clothes, things. While these are not bad things, they are perishable and to give your life to things will ensure that you live in order to service those needs. They become your secret place, your only hope for a good life. If everything you currently own were to be taken from you, what would you do? Your cars, houses, friends, sources of income and even your most prized possessions, would you be able to continue?

            Many people, even Christians, have become so attached to what they have and cannot even admit it to themselves. Jesus says that you cannot serve God and Money (Mammon), you will love one and hate the other. Can this be said of your life? Do you love God and hate Money? In your walk through life, it is important to know exactly who you are, where you stand and what you believe. The secret place you should desire is the place where God is because the moment you spend with Him is better than a million days away from Him. In this secret place you will find peace, love, joy, patience, gentleness, goodness, meekness and temperance, most of all you will be satisfied eternally without having to ask for more. The secret place is where there is rest. Everywhere else is full of chaos, struggles, malicious intent, adultery, fornication, witchcraft, hatred, heresies, wrath, seductions and so many things that just make life a bundle of turbulent hurdles.

            Why not find God today in the Secret place, take your yoke to Him, run to the Secret place where your heart will be free and everything you think you have lost can be given to you in full. You will begin to experience a life new to you but familiar to your Spirit. Let the life force of God begin to move you in ways you have never imagined, directing your heart towards experiencing the fullness of the spirit. I pray that God will lead you to His Truth and everything you need to know will be made clear.
